Shearing; shear - blades; punches.-In a shearing machine for shaping and slotting sheets, as shown in Fig. 5, a handactuated curved pivoted blade 2 with rounded and 5 co-operates with a stationary blade 6 with a hooked end 8. The blade 6 is reversible and is provided on its under side with a straight shearing-edge. The machine has an attachment by which it can be secured in-a vice and legs for fixing it to a bench.
