Abstract

304,418. Mogford, H. M., Prior, E. R., Mogford, E. H. M., and Tirkin, F. C., (trading as Mogford, Tirkin, & Co.). Nov. 16, 1927. Fittings, external; battens, strengthening.-A feeding box, having the ends 3 creased so that thev can be folded inwards on to the other walls of the box, is provided with reinforcing, strips or battens 8 upon the upper and inner surface of the sides 2 and with one or more stiffening members 9 with which transverse removable bars 10 co-operate to retain the contents of the box in position; the ends are provided with central stiffening members 6 and removable reinforcing strips 7. The ends of the retaining-bars 10 may be receased to engage the sides of the members 9.
