Stays.-Means for retaining one or both of a pair of hinged paneJs 8 in outwardly projecting position as shown in Fig. 2 consists of a pivoted lever 13 having diverging arms 13<a> which engage cam surfaces 8<b>, Fig. 5, on the lower portions of each panel. The cam surfaces 8<b> open into slots 8<c> in the panels. When the lever 13 is turned so that the end of one arm 13a enters a slot 8<c>, the corresponding panel 8 swings inwardly under the action of its plate hinge 9. The inner end of the lever 13 has a knob 14 within which is located a spring-pressed plunger adapted to engage positioning holes 16 in a bracket 12.
