Abstract
302,410. Constructors, Ltd., and Finer, H. J. Sept. 21, 1927. Cabinets.-A cabinet for gramophone records consists of a rectangular box-like member with a hinged front and double-walled top and ends, grooves, serrations &c. being provided in the top and bottom to hold movable partitions. In the arrangement shown the partitions are formed of elastic wires or rods 12, the upper ends of which engage with slots in an angle member 11 secured to the top of the cabinet, the lower ends. entering holes in a channel member 6d secured to the bottom. The rods are of such length that they are bent when in place and are secured by their own resilience. A second channel member 6e forms with the member 6<d> a trough for receiving the lower edges of the records. The door 7 is secured by stays 8 entering the hollow ends of the cabinet and carries a frame 14 carrying a numbered strip corresponding to the compartments of the cabinet. An index card may be placed in a pocket 15 secured to the top. The top and ends, and preferably the door and back, are double walled.
