Abstract

300,562. Jost, F. Nov. 15, 1927, [Contion date]. Nitrogen oxides, catalytic production of. - In the catalytic oxidation of ammonia the temperarture is controlled by removing the heat of the reaction through the catalytic substance. The latter is used in the form of a. hollow body, one side of which is cooled while the inaction takes place on the other side. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) extends the invention, to exothermic gas reactions in general. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
