Abstract

300,444. Hlscher, F. Feb. 21, 1928. Inhalers.-A mask a for administering anaesthetics, wherein the anaesthetic is introduced through a funnel h into porous material in a container g and is drawn into the mask through a valve f and a tube e, is provided with a casing k, mounted above an exhaling valve b and containing adsorbent material such as active carbon or silica gel, to absorb anaesthetic vapours exhaled by the patient. The adsorbent material is preferably carried in a frame t and is removable from the casing as a unit.
