Abstract

297,915. Gates, S. H. L. Aug. 2, 1927. Reversible seats.-A reversible seat comprises members 10, 11 rigidly connected together, one to constitute a back and the other a seat member, an arm 6 pivoted at 4 and at the junction of the members 10, 11, guides 3 for a pin 13 or a roller 15 thereon, and supports 8, 9 for the seat member. The arm 6 is preferably slotted at 7 to engage the pin 13. Members 16, 19 hold the seat in position, or other definite locking means may be provided. When the seat is reversed the member 11 forms the back and the member 10 forms the seat proper.
