Abstract

297,644. Braun, H. L. March 12, 1928. Floors, cleaning. - The stock 34 of a rotatable brush, which forms the operative element of a floor-polishing machine, is of concave form on the underside, the free ends of the bristles terminating in a common plane. The brush is secured to the shaft 28 of an electric motor by means of a sleeve 32 secured by screws to the brush stock and provided with a slot to receive a pin 29 extending transversely from the shaft 28. A shoulder 33 on the shaft 28 limits upward movement of the brush.
