297,086. Scholl, H. Sept. 14, 1927, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Addition to 283,472, [Class 1 (i), Chemical processes &c.]. Treating liquids with gases.-In an apparatus provided with means for permeating a liquid with gas as described in the parent Specification, the liquid and gas are passed in counter current through a vessel 1 prior to the admission of the liquid to an irradiation apparatus 9. The liquid is sprayed into the vessel 1 through a pipe 3 and the gas is admitted through a pipe 6. Baffle devices 10 may be arranged in the vessel.
