Abstract

293,571. Holman, H. I., Holman, E. W., and Martyne, H. H. July 13, 1927. Powder distributers. - A combined salt and pepper box comprises a pepper container 1 having a screw cap 2 perforated at one side 3 and provided with. a large central aperture 4 beneath which is secured a downwardly extending central tube 5 forming the inner salt container, the aperture 4 being normally closed by a lever 7 fulcrummed on the cap. The lever 7 is controlled by a spring 11 to close the aperture 4 which is uncovered for distributing salt by pressure of the thumb or finger on the end 9 of the lever.
