Vulcanizing tyres.-A re-treading mould with means for making local repairs on the side walls comprises an inner member 2 in two parts one of which takes both beads and is provided with a small steam-heated chamber 9, and an outer member 1 also in two parts and filled with cold water up to a vent 5, the space above the water being filled with steam. A chamber 9 may be provided in both parts of the member 2. The outer and inner members are secured together by bolts, washers being interposed so that there is a clear. ance of 3 mm. between the members to minimize heat transference between them.
