291,308. Auld & Sons, Ltd., D., and Graham, J. Dec. 15, 1927. Addition to 253,466. Pressure-regulating valves.-A pressure-regulating valve of the kind described in the parent Specification has the double beat main valve replaced by a simple lift valve b having a cylindrical extension working in a cylinder 1. A pilot balancing valve is secured to the valve spindle c and works between a perforated bridge 6 screwed to the valve member and a seat 4 surrounding a central aperture in the valve member. Instead of being actuated by low-pressure steam the main valve may be actuated by water or other liquid under pressure.
