Abstract
288,597. Berliner Batterie - Fabrik Ges. April 13, 1927, [Convention date]. Cases. - A high tension &c. battery has the single cells 2 assembled in a cardboard &c. container 1 closed bv a plate 3 of cast or compressed insulating material provided with apertures preferably in the form of sockets 4 corresponding with and adapted to receive the plug socket connectors 10 of the individual cells. The sockets or apertures 4 are preferably countersunk at both ends and firmly hold the cells in position. A lid or cover 8 is provided having apertures 9 registering with those plug-sockets 10 which are required to give the desired tapping connections, so that various tappings may be provided for by the use of a correspondingly apertured lid or cover.
