Abstract
287,922. Landis et Gyr Soc. Amon. March 30, 1927, [Convention date]. Sparking, preventing; contacts. - The main contacts of a switch are shunted by a number of series connected contacts which are opened after the main contacts. The invention is shown applied to a three-phase switch. The contacts 9 are carried by springs 8 and are moved out of engagement with the contacts 10 upon depression of a plate 18. Further depression of the plate 18 causes roller contacts 14 carried by springs 13 to be moved away from fixed contacts 12.
