Abstract

Heating by electricity.-A flexible electric heating element secured round a tank or the like is enclosed in a flexible metallic casing forming an air-chamber. The heating element 5 is secured in place by a spring 14 and hook 15 engaging with the chain 16 and the casing 18 is then placed over it leaving a space as shown in Fig. 6, and secured by bolts 23 and nuts 24.
