Abstract

285,318. Feldwabel, J. Aug. 3, 1927. Windscreens. - The transverse screen in a cabriolet is adapted to be turned down into a recess at the back of the driver's seat and extends at its lateral edges over the side doors overlapping the guides for the side screens which, as usual, may be lowered into door recesses. The transverse screen 5, in one piece, is held by end frames pivoted at 8 in order to lower the screen as shown when the doors 4 are opened to release the screen. The end frames are provided with a flange 7 to act as stops for the side screen guides 6 and also with a horizontal flange 10 at the foot with which engages a member 11 mounted on the door to lock the screen in the vertical position when the door is closed.
