Stencils.-A stencil sheet for use on duplicating- machines comprises a sheet of Yoshino paper or the like coated with a colloidal and plastic composition over which a coating consisting of spores of Lycopodium clavatum is applied with the object of preserving the plasticity of the coating and protecting it from outside moisture. The coating-composition may consist of gelatine, glycerine, and soap, oil, or wax, or alternatively, of caoutchouc substances mixed with tempering- agents such as cellulose esters.
