Abstract

283,110. Hemmeler, L. Jan. 3, 1927, [Convention date]. Magneto-electric machines. -A magneto-electric lighting generator is provided with two independent generating units, the magnets of one system being arranged inside those of the other and the armatures are axially in line on a common shaft. The main armature k is acted upon by horseshoe magnets f and the magnets h acting upon the auxiliary armature l bear against a support e carrying the central bearing c and are secured by screws arranged parallel to the shaft a and screwed into the support e. The two magnetic circuits are arranged so as not to influence each other.
