Abstract

282,666. Hansen, J. Dec. 23, 1926, [Convention date]. Golf-practising appliances. - A device for practising and teaching golf comprises a pair of substantially circular tracks and a golf-club guide slidable thereon, the tracks being connected at their upper ends. As shown, the outer end of a golf-club shaft 13 is connected by a pivoted hook 12 to a wheeled guide 10 movable around a pair of tracks A, B. The tracks are supported by a framework 1 and are connected at their upper ends by loops 3, 7 so that in making a stroke the guide travels upwardly on the track A, makes a complete circuit of the track B and is returned to the starting point along the track A. The arrangement is such that the hook 12 is slightly nearer to the user on the upstroke than on the downstroke.
