281,099. Crowe, E. Dec. 13, 1926. Golf-practising appliances; tees. - A golfpractising device of the kind described in Specification 24032/08 comprises a tee in the form of hollow or solid, resilient, raised portion 5<b> mounted on a base 5 and provided with one or more resilient members 5<d> adapted to mark the sole of the club head as the ball is struck. The tee is formed of rubber, and is provided with one. or more anchoring spikes 7 and with a cup 5<c> to receive the ball. The base may be stiffened by a perforated metal plate 8. In a modification, the base is formed of leather and the marking device comprises a pair of bow-shaped leaf springs disposed one en either side of the raised portion.
