Abstract

279,987. Pollock, C. Sept. 15, 1926. Open. fireplaces.-Frames for the openings of fireplace surrounds comprise lengths A - - C of thin metal forming the sides and top, the ends of which fit adjustably in corner pieces D, E in order that height and width of the frame may be adjusted to suit the opening. The parts A - - C may each be in more than one length, the lengths being connected by covering-pieces in which they slide to provide further adjustment in size. A canopy may be secured to the top length.
