Laminated wood.-Boxes are made from thin plywood by sticking paper or like material on to one or both sides of the plywood and slightly scoring or cutting the wood, without removing any material, at the places where it is to be bent to form the corners or the box; the paper is applied over the entire surface of the plywood or over apart of the surface only including the places at which the corners are to be formed. The paper &c. may be transparent or opaque and printed or painted.
