Detachable - rim attachments to wheels. - A tyre mounting for a plurality of tyres on a common wheel hub comprises means whereby the tyre rims are removable and interchangeable to take various sizes of tyres and so that the space between the tyres on the same hub is constant. A removable felloe band 10 can be secured to wheels 12 of various types and has an outwardly inclined bearing rim 19 on one side and a lesser inclined bearing seat 24 in the opposite direction on the other side, with securing bolts 16 mounted in lugs on this side. The removable rims 18, 26 are secured to the inclined seats on the felloe band by providing wedge sectors 25 to seat on the lesser inclined surface and a distancing-band 39 disposed between the rims, nuts 32 on the bolts 16 pressing the wedge sectors to secure the opposed rims. Projections 21 on the tyre rims enter recesses provided in the inclined seat 19 and wedge sectors 25 respectively to provide a driving connection between the felloe and the rims. Detachable connections 44 are shown for the outwardly or inwardly disposed valve tubes 43. In a modification, the securing bolts 68 pass across the inside of the felloe band which is provided with radial extending portions 54, 61, and an inturned lesser-inclined seating surface 66, and the rims are secured by detachable lugs 67 and nut 69, Fig. 2. In a further modification, Fig. 4, the clamping-band 92 is provided with perforated depending side flanges 93 and a recessed centre flange 95 and bolts 99 are provided to pass through the apertured flanges and seat on the recesses in the centre flange so that slight inequalities in the wheel rims may be taken up. Fig. 6 shows how tyres of different sizes may be fixed to the wheels maintaining the same distance between the tyres 118, 119 and also the same width of clamping band 123.
