Abstract

277,428. Automatic Telephone Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Tarrant, R. W. June 17, 1926. Electrical systems, automatic.-In a trackrelay system the track battery 3 is connected to the rails 1, 2 of an insulated track section through the winding 4 of a vibrator and the vibrator contact 6, the contact 6 being shunted by an electrolytic cell 7 acting as a condenser of large capacity to slow down the action of the vibrator. The electrolytic cell may be such as described in Specification 248,466, [Class 37, Electricity, Measuring &c.]. The vibrator may have an auxiliary high resistance winding 5 wound so as to aid the winding 4, but normally short-circuited by contact 6. This winding also provides that the circuit between batten and rails is never actually broken.
