276,157. British-American Laundry Machinery Co., Ltd., (American Laundry Machinery Co.). Sept. 8, 1926 Ironing-presses.-In a press in which the head 3 is lowered manually into light contact with the buck 2 and heavy final pressure is applied by fluid pressure, the means for applying the heavy pressure comprise a piston 31 working in a pivoted cylinder 7 and connected by a lever 13 to a presure bar 6. The admission of the fluid is controlled by a handle 33 and the press is restored to full open position by a spring 32. Specification 276,071 is referred to.
