Radiants for gas fires.- Perforated radiants are constructed with a bellied or barrelled front portion f, thus forming an expansion chamber for the combustion products and preventing impingement of the inner blue core of the flame on the radiant, with the consequent deposition of carbon. The sides of the radiants are parallel.
