Spectacles.-Tortoise-shell and like club ends of spectacle sides are detachably and adjustably secured to the metal hinged sides 5 by the provision of a liner 4 inserted into the club end 1 and held therein, the interior of the liner 4 being screwed for a portion of its length to receive the threaded end 6 of the side 5.
