Abstract

271,669. Mavor & Coulson, Ltd., and Dey, G. July 3, 1926. Jigging conveyers.-The trough C of a jigging conveyer is supported by a member B which projects from a member A mounted on skids 2 and carrying the driving gear. The member B can be turned about pivots 13 which are coaxial with the bevel gear 9 of the driving mechanism. The trough C is supported by arms 3, 4 mounted in brackets on the underside of the member B. The arm 4 is connected by a rod 7 to a crank 6 which is driven through a bevel gear 8 by the gear 9. A bevel gear 10 meshing with the gear 9 is driving through gearing 11 by a sprocket 12. The conveyer may be used in conjunction with the feeder described in Specification 262,881.
