Tyre covers, tools for removing and replacing.- A tool for manipulating a rim of the split-ring type comprise a lever 35 having one end 36 shaped to engage a slot in one end of the rim for prising open the rim-joint, and two cranked pins 42, 43 pivoted adjacent the other end of the lever to engage perforated lugs on the rim ends for forcibly contracting or expanding the rim.
