Card and like cases.-A case for notes, bills, &c. comprises an inner wall 11, an outer wall 10 connected at its lower edge to the opposite and non-adjacent upper edge of the wall 11 by flexible members 12, and flexible members 17 which hold the parts together when the case is closed and folded and close the ends thereof; by these means relative longitudinal shifting movement is allowed between the walls 10, 11 in folding the closed case along the line 25, such movement occurring as different numbers of notes &c. are accommodated in the case. As shown, the case is made from a blank of leather &c. the walls 10, 11 being connected by spaced parts 12 formed by removing a portion 13 from a section of the blank; the members 17 are extensions from the wall 10 and when the case is closed, projections 19 on the members 17 slidably engage slits 22 in the members 12. In a modification in which the closed case is folded into three sections an additional member connects the outer and inner walls between the members 12 which are made narrower; a strip of leather &c. may be attached to the additional member, which may be provided with a transparent section, to form a pocket for a card.
