Abstract
267,176. Plant, F. W. Oct. 12, 1925. Shelves.-A folding table, waiter, dinner wagon, or the like comprises leaves or shelves g carrying detachable trays hand connected by parallel links e to hold them one above the other or in a common horizontal plane with locking means on the edges of the shelves. Detachable trays h, h', h<2> may drop into place or slide on runners in the leaves or shelf frames g which may be open on one end. Guide quadrants or straight rods on the frame a on castors b prevent lateral motion of the pivoted links e. A ball catch k holds the bottom leaf when the leaves are vertical and spring pressed latches on the edges of the shelves ergage when they are horizontal.
