Abstract
266,754. Flettner, A. Feb. 27, 1926, [Convention date]. Rudders. - A balanced rudder embraces the stern post and its axis of rotational support is in line with the rudder shaft. The rudder 12 turns on bearings 13, 14 on the post 11 which are in line with the rudder shaft 15. The front part of the rudder may be made detachable to facilitate dismantling. The rudder may carry an auxiliarv rudder which assists the actuation of the main rudder as described in Specifications 147,024 and 147,185. The rudder is of streamline section.
