Abstract
265,461. Molin, A. G. Feb. 3, 1926, [Convention date]. Fixed sieves.-In apparatus for grading coke &c. of the kind comprising a series of parallel shafts 3 rotating in the same direction and carrying discs 4 arranged so that the discs on adjacent shafts overlap, the peripheries of the discs are formed to a slightly sinuous shape. The discs 4 have hubs 5 and the arrangement is such that the openings represented by the periphery of one disc and the juxtaposed hubs of the discs on the adjacent shaft are approximately square. The discs may be dished on one or both sides, and the sinuous formation may extend only over part of the periphery.
