Abstract
An installation method for an anchoring device 10 on a seabed 46, where the anchoring device comprises an anchor toe (12, Fig 1) and a follower (14, Fig 1). The anchor toe comprises a shank 16, a fluke 18, a connection element 20 fixed to the shank, a sinking edge 43 and a hammering edge 44. The follower comprises a hammering surface 50, able to come into contact with the hammering edge of the anchor toe. The method comprises settling the anchor toe on a horizontal seabed 46, then hammering the anchor toe by means of the follower, so that the sinking edge sinks into the seabed, then pulling the connection element upward, so that the anchor toe tilts to an installed configuration.
