Abstract

262,704. Pritchard, G. Oct. 25, 1926. Rollers or cylinders, hollow.- Condensation is removed from a rotary steam-heated drying - cylinder by spiral guides secured to the inner surface of a cone located at the steam outlet end of the cylinder. The guides form a continuation of similar guides secured to the inner surface of the cylinder. Apertures may be provided in the periphery of the cone to allow the steam to pass behind it. In a modification, the cone is supported away from the periphery of the cylinder to leave spaces for the passage of the steam. Specification 25260/08 is referred to
