Abstract

262,108. Star, B. Nov. 25, 1925, [Convention date]. Cage and platform lifts. -Lift guides are formed of seamless tubes made in sections which are connected together internally by screwed sleeves, the guides being expansibly mounted in girders at their upper and lower ends. The tubes 1, Fig. 3, are connected together internally by screwed sleeves 9 engaging the screwed ends of the tube sections. The upper ends of the guides are supported on girders 2, Fig. 1, by nuts 3 and resilient washers 4. The lower ends of the guides are held in girders 5, Fig. 2. bv tensioning nuts 8.
