Abstract

261,547. Murch, J. Nov. 24, 1925. Sheep, dipping.-A sheep dipping appliance comprises a trough 6 over which a pair of cages -4, 5 is arranged, the cages being provided with cables 12, pulleys 11, 13 and a hand-wheel 16 for simultaneously raising one from and lowering the other into the trough. An admission gangway 13a having a floor of bars 14 covered with wire mesh 15 leads to the cages and the animals pass out through a gangway 2 having a floor of corrugated iron so arranged that liquids drain back into the trough. A ramp 1 extends from the gangway to the ground.
