Abstract
Charging system for EVs having multiple generators 3 attached to the drive shaft 5/prop shaft 4/axle 6 which extracts rotational kinetic energy and convert to electrical energy for charging the batteries. Internal rotor of the generator 3 rotates, and the external stator remains static. Air holes on the outer casing cools the components and prevent overheating. Electric components convert the electricity to appropriate voltage/ampere required for charging the batteries. Solar panel 1 on the roof charges the batteries. EV may still require mains charging. Electrical output of the generator may depend on the type of the generator 3. Size of the solar panel and the number of generators 3 may vary depending on the type and size of the vehicle.
Description
Description
Charging system To extend the cage between charging and to give the electric batteries longer life.
On electric vehicles or hybrid vehicles are attached to the drive shaft, prop shaft and or axle a generator; as the rotation occurs on the drive shaft, prop shaft or axle this produces rotational mechanical energy; the rotational mechanical energy; rotates the internal components of the generator while the outer components are static.
The generator works normally and produces electricity which goes through a se components to convert the electricity suitable to charge the electric batteries.
electrical generators output will vary depending on size andtype of generator.
The number of generators used on the electric vehicle or hybrid vehicle will vary depending on the type and size of the vehicle.
On the outer casing of the generator are air holes to allow air flow to work as a air cooling system to keep the components cool.
On the electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles roof are positioned solar panels to charge the electric batteries on the vehicle; the size or shape of the solar panels will vary depending on the size and type of the vehicle.
This system will help charge the electric batteries, but they will still need other means of charging.
