259,885. General Electric Co., Ltd., (Assignees of Patent-Treuhand-Ges. f³r Elektrische Gluhlampen). April 22, 1925, [Convention date]. Caps are secured to bulbs by interpasing between them a. strip c of moisbened asbestos, which may be dipped in maferial that increases its adhesive properties, for example, gypsum water. Depression may be impressed in the cap to grip the asbestos, or the depressions may be replaced by slits and the tongues so formed encircled by a clamping band, in known manner.
