Abstract
259,123. Jodor, H. E. March 29, 1926. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel. - Heat is applied electrically to the neighbourhood of the sparking points for facilitating the starting of the engine. A coil 7 may be embedded in a member 2 interposed between the sparking plug and the engine cylinder, one terminal of the coil being connected to the metal body of the intermediate member and the other by a lead 6 to an outside source of current. The coil may consist of chrome-nickel wire .45 mm. in diameter and 87 metre in length.
