Abstract
257,970. Ridley, M. N. May 4, 1925. Draw-gear.-In a railway or other vehicle provided with two central transversely-disposed wheels, a draw-bar 55 is provided for use when the vehicle is coupled in a train. The draw-bar is pinned in a socket 56 pivoted on the vehicle at a point which is central in relation to an arcshaped channel 58 which forms a guide for the end of the draw-bar. When the draw-bar is not in use, it is pushed through a hole in the guide into the position 60. The draw-bar may be used with mono-rail vehicles having a stability wheel as described in Specification 215,031, [Class 103 (vi), Railway &c. vehicles, Undercarriage &c. details of], arranged as shown in dotted lines at 63, Fig. 7, or having a wheel of any other type.
