Thread guides. - Guidetubes for conveying filaments to the centrifuges in spinning artificial silk comprise a metal casing 3 provided with a glass ring 4, a resiliently mounted nipple 7, and intermediate guiding elements consisting of short glass tubes 11 with restricted ends 10 and spaced by rubber rings 12, single glass tubes provided with restrictions and mounted between rubber rings abutting against the glass ring 4, nipple 7, or a series of glass rings spaced between the ring and nipple by resilient tubular elements.
