Abstract
255,852. Calmetes, P. de Guardia- July 24, 1925, [Convention date]. Beat-up motions.-In a loom for weaving reeds, the weft is engaged in eight places by spring-controlled blades 70, Figs. 8 and 12, guided by rollers 71 between the warp-guiding plates 14 and operated by forked arms 81 connected to spring-controlled rods 79 actuated by tappets 78 on a rotary shaft 77. In the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) it is stated that the loom may also be used for weaving ligneous material other than reeds. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
