Kinematograph apparatus. - In apparatus for projecting from endless films, and having film-controlled means for breaking the lighting and driving circuits should the feed become abnormal, a dynamo, incorporated in or operated by the driving motor, supplies current to the projection lamp; the intermittent mechanism may produce a high ratio between the stationary and movement periods, the projector may be mounted on the casing of the film-winding means, and the whole apparatus may be enclosed in a removable casing and be adjustable in inclination. As shown, the film is coiled on rollers 8 within a casing 6 supporting the projector, and passes from the exterior of the coil through a guide 11, over a roller 15<a>, through the gate, and back, over rollers 15b and 9, to the interior of the coil. The apparatus is driven by a motor 25 serving as, or driving, a dynamo supplying current to the lamp, and current is fed to it from main terminals 30 through one or more film-controlled switches 27, the pivoted arms 28 of which carry rollers bearing on the film. The intermittent sprocket is driven by a maltese cross gearing having a cam disc 36 engaging the pin wheel 37 and reciprocating it on its shaft so that the pin 38 engages the cross 34 only once during two or more revolutions. The lamp casing 17 is carried by a member 18 pivoted at 19 and may be swung open when the casing 5 enclosing the apparatus has been removed. The base plate 1 of the apparatus is pivoted to a supporting plate 2 and its inclination may be adjusted by a slotted link 3 and clamping nut 4.
