Abstract

252,544. Druiff, G. E. May 27, 1925. Sight-testing apparatus.-Face gauges of the type having a recess in one of its longitudinal edges and an adjustable member adapted to move transversely, and provided with a zero mark b<3>, are fitted with fixed scales b<2> upon the gauge to indicate in conjunction with the zero mark b<3> the effective depth of the recess a<2> in the longitudinal edge of the rule. The edge of the rule may be graduated in millimetres, the graduations being continued across the gap a<2>, on the lower edge of the adjustable member b.
