Abstract
A device to dewater sludge or slurry produced during building or construction works comprises a framework or support stand A that is located within a container (not shown). The framework may comprise a plurality of legs and a base. In use a plurality of filter media [Fig 1, B, C and D] are located in the support framework and may comprise a hessian filter or layers of micro pond filter. The filter media may vary in size from fine to coarse and may be interchangeable, cleaned and replaced as required. Dirty, contaminated or wash water may be poured into the device on top of the filters. The filters trap sediment and aggregates and allow filtered water to pass through under the action of gravity to the lower section of the device where the filtered water is held. A tap or valve may be provided to allow water to be drawn off.
Description
This is a filtration unit for waste building slurry That is gravity fed through filters that can be interchangeable In a frame work that fits inside a container And the returned water can be reused The product is a mobile water filtering system Whereby multiple trades in the construction industry will Benefit enormously. This product will be used to wash out buckets containing Plaster, tile grout and mortar. After it has passed through the layers of filters Which will remove the harmful substances, Water enters into a holding tank at the bottom of the unit That can be accessed via a tap to be re used for remixing / washing out materials Again and it filtered and re filling the holding tank The frame work unit that holds the filters in place is sat into a water container and consists of layers of Different filter to remove waste slurry in the water and falls into a holding Tank at the bottom of the container and them can be reused to wash out Containers that have builders slurry again, The filters can be replaced and cleaned and reused several times The present invention relates to filtration systems Particularly to such systems using gravitational Drainage to filter at least one target solid from a liquid For separation disposal or recovery i.e. Plaster, grout, mortar Drawing A is a frame work that holds the filters in place and sits inside A container with a holding container at the bottom to contain the recycled Water Drawing B is a filter consisting of a hessian filter Drawing C is consist of 3 layers of micro pond filter Varying in size from fine to course Drawing D is a micro cloth fitted to a frame were the hessian sits into When all the filters are in place the hole of the unit fits Into a water container fitted with a tap that is placed in water holding section Drawing A A frame work to hold filters in place a water Container Drawing B A filter consisting of a hessian cloth Drawing C Consisting of micro pond filter Varying in size from fme to course Drawing D A micro cloth filter fitted to a frame work That holds the hessian filter S. -
