Abstract
252,365. Tetrastyl Schreibstiftfabrik Ges. May 20, 1925, [Convention date]. Pencil holders.-In a magazine pencil holder of the type in which two telescoping casing- members 1, 2. having means for securing them in adjusted position and for indicating which lead is in propelling- position are provided, the inner member 2 having holders 9 for the leads arranged at equal distances from the axis, and the outer member 1 carrying a longitudinal and eccentric pusher 23, the lead-holders 9 are carried by springs 8 secured at one end in the casing- member 2 and free at the other end. The casing-member 1 carries at its rear end a member 15 which is split at its lower end to enable it to be expanded by a conical member 21 on a spring-pressed rod 17, so that external screw-threads thereon may be forced into engagement with screw-threads on the interior of the casing-member 2. Pressure on the head 18 of the rod 17 allows the contraction of the split end of the member 15 and adjustment of the members 1, 2. The member 15 carries the pusher 23 which is adapted to be brought by rotation of the casing-members opposite the desired lead-holder 9. The springs 8 are secured in peripheral recesses in a disc 7 secured in the casing-member 2.
