Abstract

248,591. Regenboog, J. H. May 2, 1925. Barrel and cylindrical hinges.-Hinge members 13, for use in securing loose leaves, booklets and the like 12 in a file, consist of a flexible portion attached by eyelets or adhesive to the leaf &c., and a rigid portion forming the hinge socket member proper. The member 13 may be formed from a strip of metal, the ends 16, Fig. 3, of which are bent over to clamp a strip 14 of fabric, the fabric and metal being then bent transversely of the fabric. The hinge sockets are engaged by a pin 9.
