Abstract

An exercise apparatus comprises; a base structure capable of providing rotation against a ground surface, a support platform 114 located on the base structure which is capable of supporting a user, wherein the user is capable of exercising by standing on the support platform 114 and causing the apparatus to move through a 360 degree movement by changing the direction of their body weight. The base structure may be concentric in shape and may be hemispherical. The apparatus may have an upstanding rim 110. At least one electrical circuit board 116 may be provided on the platform. The circuit board 116 may be used for a game where the user follows a light in a random and/or pre-programmed selection, simply by tilting in the direction of the illuminated light. A circuit board may also be used as a digital clock, calorie counter or used to transmit the exercise movements to a display screen for gaming purposes.
