Pressure - gauges.- Apparatus for indicating whether fluid is circulating at a predetermined pressure in a pipe system comprises a piston actuated by the fluid and acting on the spindle of a visual indicator arranged transversely to the axis of the piston characterized in that this spindle carries a bent rod acted upon by a plunger moved by the piston. A connector 2 is provided with a flange 4 held in the casing 1 by a screwed ring 3. A hole 8 in the connector admits pressude fluid underneath a flexible diaphragm 7 clamped between the flange 4 and a shoulder on the casing. The flange has lugs which engage recesses in the casing to prevent rotation of the flange. Above the diaphragm the casing is recessed and contains a piston 10 pressed down against the diaphragm by a spring plunger 11, the tension of the spring 13 being regulated by the screwed cap 12. The spindle 16 of the indicator 21 has a bearing at one end in the casing, while its other end engages a bearing centre 17. A bent rod is adjustably carried by the spindle, one arm 18 lying parallel with the spindle and extending above the plunger 11, while the other arm 19 passes perpendicularly through the spindle and is engaged by a rod 20 acting as a spring to keep the arm 18 against the plunger. The indicator disc 21 carries coloured sectors located behind a fixed plate 23 having apertures therein. In the position of rest the sectors are obscured by the full parts of the plate, but when fluid is circulating in the pipe system at the required pressure the coloured sectors are visible through the apertures in the plate 23.
